The Challenge

It's been more than a week since we have no helper at all. A month ago, we had two. One left to get married two weeks ago, and the other left just last week.

It has not been easy for us to take care of our toddler and do the household chores while working for at least 10 hours a day and commuting for at least another 3. And i am forever grateful for my in-laws who take care of our baby while we are in the office, clean whatever we might have forgotten, wash the things that our baby had used and most importantly, open the gate when we come home. I don't know how messed up things would have been if it weren't for them. I am also so glad that i have married Roney because he really helps out a lot in our household chores which i would not speak in detail to preserve his machismo.

I admit that there are times that i like the way we are now- how responsible we are in taking care of the house and being parents, etc. For whatever it's worth, i think i am beginning to mature through this small chapter of our lives. Not just physically (with sagging eyebags and multiple wrinkles from lack of sleep), but emotionally as well.

And i also challenge and dare myself to see through it unscathed.

i can say nag-mature talaga ako ng lubos when we moved away. siguro if i did live with a helper around the house, hindi ako matututo hehe.

pero sa totoo lang, feeling fulfilled ako dahil alam kong lahat ng bagay dito sa house namin pagod at effort namin ni hubby ang pinanggalingan. ibang klase na ito! hehe. :)

kaya alam ko ikaw, you can surpass this. ikaw pa? and with roney beside you, nothing is impossible. :)
