December Highlights
December has always been a party month. So, a class reunion, 3 weddings, a concert and Christmas gatherings all in the same month came as no surprise for me.
The first event I went to was the reunion. It was nice to see good ol’ friends and reminisce our growing years. It may be the very same reason that one did not attend the party. One does not want to remember the traumatic teenage years. Nevertheless, the joy of celebrating with friends and making new acquaintances is still worth the trip.

After a few days, we attended a very elegant wedding. The ceremony was done in a chapel and the reception in a nearby hall. There is something in weddings that makes me want to cry. Or probably it’s the sentimental me. We wish you all the best, Kaye & Gino!
The day after was another union of hearts. It was a very enjoyable ceremony and reception, a time to see old friends again. Every moment captured in MB was priceless. Live a blissful married life Eric & Judy!!!
We witnessed the third wedding a couple of days before Christmas. Roney (Cui to his friends) was the veil sponsor, while I was his alalay. I felt I was a stage mother during that time, worrying if he was wearing the right clothes since there was some sort of confusion if it was barong or suit that he was supposed to don. Weng, wag mo na raw pakawalan si Stan! Love each other as long as you live.
Of course, there was also our office Christmas party. I guess my blessings have not run out. Every year, i was able to take home something. First was a cellphone. Next was the HK trip for 2. Then there was the Beijing trip for 1 (but Roney tagged along. at least we paid for only one c:) Last year was the rainbow dvd player. And now, this! Yey! That's the power of prayer! Thanks to all the sponsors who had twisted arms after the party!
And because there is an on-going Barney-craze in the house, watching Barney’s concert is a MUST. I never thought that my son would be a Barney-buff at the age of one year and four months. It was also nice to chance upon a friend who loves her daughter to tears (bringing her near the stage so she could get a better look of Barney). Sayang, I was not able to take a picture of our kids together.
And of course, December would not be the most exciting month without Christmas.
This is Roney's gift for me. Is this a sign that i have to prettify myself? wait, i remember telling him that i would want to buy make-up, but it's too expensive for my budget!
This was our First Tree....
And our first family pic by the first tree...
WISHING YOU ALL A PROSPEROUS 2008!!!
