Jadon's Birthday Celeb Kwento

We (more likely I) did not want to throw a party for Jadon's 2nd birthday. It's just a second birthday. Nothing significant. Had it been his 7th or 12th or 21st birthday, i would have prepared painstakingly for a grand celebration. So we (more likely he) agreed that we should have a small gathering in the house with only the closest relatives.

Thus, we trekked off to Divi to get some party essentials such as:

Balloons

and the loot bags, which unfortunately had not been photographed.


Of course, a birthday would not be complete without the cake, which we got from Goldilocks

Since this is not really a party, we did and cooked everything.


The punch was a blast! Everyone loved it, especially the tidbits that were included in the juice.

The spaghetti and the garlic were were a hit! I even had to prepare another set of spaghetti because people kept on getting seconds (and thirds, and fourths, and fifths...)

However, the fried drumsticks, which should have been lollipops, were kinda bland. The kids did not eat their share. Which means, it isn't delicious :(

We also served leche flan (which Roney wonderfully made) for dessert. But, again, no photo to show the yummy sweets.

The most important of all is that Jadon had such a wonderful time with his cousins,

And was even able to show off some of his tapping skills.
