Birth Date!
Because it was my special day, Roney and I went to Aubergine to celebrate. It is a classy restaurant located at 32nd and Fifth Building, Bonifacio Global City. Although it was not really needed, we kinda dressed up for the occasion (not the usual jeans and shirt) :)

We ordered their Degustation Menu which is a six-course meal. We also ordered a bottle of Talus Chardonnay because we figured that it would be cheaper and we could bring it home after dinner.

We began with the Chef's Compliment: I can't recall the name of the dish.

Then we had the following in that order. I tried writing down the menu, but my eyesight is really poor.

After the dessert, there was no wine left to take home. I was dizzy and drunk. Good thing I was not the driver :) Thanks Roney for celebrating my birthday with me. Lthysm :)

Ano kaya?
My birthday is just around the corner. Roney and I were discussing his gift for me. It is the only thing that makes me really look forward to the coming of that day. I have forgotten to count the years. I could not remember the year that I was born (and please, i am not asking for any reminders heehee).
With all the talk about the LV bag in n@w, I was tempted to tell him to give me that bag. Well, almost. I really do not want the bag right now. I am a lousy bag owner. I usually leave it on the floor where ever i am, or just push it in corner of my cabinet underneath the other bags without any protection whatsoever. True, it could be an heirloom. I have an LV pencil case which my grandmother gave to my mother who, in turn, gave it to me. It is old, but it is still sturdy and very nice, and does not look new. So, i know that it is made with uber quality. But still, i do not want to take care of a new designer bag. I am fine with the P500 bag i carry all over town.
Anyway, since he just got his midyear bonus hot from the atm (yipeee!), he was asking me what i want for my birthday. He really celebrates the day i was born. I mean, he would not have a loving, cheerful, wise, sexy, pretty wife (hahaha!) if i were not conceived on this planet. (Why do I hear someone asking, 'who? where?')
Going back, I want something that:
Happy gift hunting, honey!

Going back, I want something that:
- I can use or keep in the cabinet.
- The value would never depreciate.
- I can someday give to my daughter or granddaughter.
- But purchasing it would not leave us in debt.
- And of course, it should top the Nokia N95 he gave me last year ;)
Happy gift hunting, honey!
